Running in the Mud (without losing a shoe)
If you cannot avoid the mud, and all of the fun it brings, you may want to make sure you keep your shoes for the rest of your run.
- Run quickly and pick up your feet from the heel first.
- If you try to pick your feet up out of the mud more flat footed you will almost always feel some major suction and maybe even lose a shoe.
Give it a try, if you don't know where you can give it a try, check out the RCC Run the Woods or Living History Farms, they typically have some fun to be had in the mud.

Nicole Young (not pictured) and Erin Pearce

Nicole and Erin came up huge in this year"s Cranky Gnome gear.
Nicole volunteered her amazing graphic design talents and came up with some sweet logos to be featured in our Gnomewear. If that task was left up to Zimm, our mascot would be a stick figure with a stick beard.
Erin took time out of her sub 4 hour marathon training schedule to take the reigns on getting the order form together for the fresh threads we sport. Without these two MVGs, we would be rockin styles that are sooooo 2008.
A big Gnome thank you for everything!
